Kindergarten 2012-2013 Round-Up: Thursday, May 3rd 6pm-7pm
Join us for a brief tour of the school promptly at 6:00pm followed by an information session
on enrollment, extended-day and registration. On-site registration will be available.

Spirit Night: Monday, Feb. 6th at Roma's
Our next Spirit Night will be at Roma's Italian Restaurant at the corner of Old St. Augustine Rd. and
Philips Highway THIS MONDAY, Feb. 6th! Come on out and enjoy some
great food while supporting BSE!
Candygrams
Let that special someone at Bartram Springs Elementary know that you are thinking about them on
Valentine’s Day by sending them a Candygram. Just fill out the order form that comes home with
your child or pick up an extra in the front office. Candygrams are $2 each and include a gourmet
chocolate lollipop along with your hand written note. They are delivered to the classroom by our
Navy Volunteers on Valentine’s Day. Orders are due on Friday,
February 10th (cash or checks made
out to BSE PTA).
Boxtops for Education
Time is running short for you to get those box tops turned in to earn cash for your child's
classroom. All boxtops should be turned in to your child's teacher or room mom by
February 17th.
Remember that they can be taped or glued to a submission form or put in a baggie with your child's
teachers name written on the baggie. Please NO EXPIRED labels or STAPLES! Thanks.
Family Fitness Night: March 13th, 6:00pm-8:00pm
Bartram Springs Elementary and the PTA will be hosting our second annual Family Fitness Night to benefit
the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund. The mission of the Jay Fund is to assist children with leukemia and other
cancers and their families by providing emotional and financial support to help reduce the stress
associated with treatment and improve their quality of life.
This is a free event open to the community with a focus on healthy lifestyles. Families will travel through different stations where they will learn about staying active and eating healthy while participating in fun activities like Zumba and a Hoola Hoop Contest. There will also be a silent auction where you may bid on themed gift baskets created by each of the BSE classrooms.
There are many ways that you can help make this event a success! First, encourage your friends and neighbors to join you and your family at this fun event. Second, you can help by purchasing a heart (in honor of) or hand (in memory of) for $1 and dedicate them to a loved one who has experienced the challenges of cancer (forms available in the front office). Finally, if you are interested in volunteering for this event you can sign up online or at the front office.

Boosterhon FUN RUN
We officially raised $20,000 from our Boosterthon Fun Run held back in November. This amount is
TWICE what we expected to profit! Way to go!!!
